Wedding Bells

JUNE 10, 2021
A hearty congratulations to Carole-Anne and Monty Mosher on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary!

On June 10th, 1961 Carole-Anne Zinck and Lamont Mosher wed at St. Norbert’s Roman Catholic Church in Lunenburg. Thirty guests were in attendance at the ceremony on a bright and sunny day. Bridesmaids Meleta Basden (the bride’s first cousin) and Leone Wilkie (the groom’s aunt), wore a lovely shade of pale pink. The groomsman was Charles Basden, Meleta’s husband. Carole-Anne fondly remembers the beautiful red roses she carried. A celebratory reception was held at the bride's home, where turkey dinner was served. The newlyweds honeymooned in Niagara Falls and Toronto - a great adventure, visiting Monty’s parents along the way. When the happy couple returned to Kingsburg they made 15 Mosher Road home, still home today. Over the years they had three boys - Jimmy, Terry and Steven.
