The End of an Era in Kingsburg

This summer brought an end to an era in Kingsburg, with the passing of David Murphy in 2020 and Sonia Salisbury-Murphy in 2021.

There was an estate sale in July of this year and then the kids came back for a family gathering and internment of the Dr’s Murphy’s at the Kingsburg Cemetery in August, ending with the sale of their home in September.

The Murphy’s will live on in the memories of those who knew them and through some of David’s unique sculptures that now live in and around Kingsburg.
