Mixed Media Kingsburg Collage

We’ve likely all seen photos, or maybe even sketches of this scene of the Kingsburg pond. But have you ever seen a fabric collage of it that is 2’ x 7.5’ in size?

Mary Beth Currie and Jeff Rintoul were delighted to receive this phenomenal piece as a house warming gift from Mary Beth’s sister, Su Currie, soon after they moved into their home on Woodlot Lane. Su is a fabric artist who uses cotton, burlap, wool and paper and stretches the work over a frame to create her pieces. As you can see, the work is meticulous, and the detail and textures are inspiring.  — Alison David
