While locked down during the Pandemic, Nancy Regan wrote a book; a vulnerable account of a recovering perfectionist, and her unexpected journey from living in the spotlight to feeling and embracing her own light.

Nancy built her reputation as the host of CTV Atlantic’s Live at 5 for fifteen years. She also served as the national host of Good Morning Canada and That News Show. Nancy is also an actor, having appeared on stage, in TV and film. From Showing Off to Showing UP is her first book.

This spring the book spent three weeks on the national bestseller list, but more significantly received messages from readers across the country who relate on a deep level.

For the Kingsburg launch, Nancy chatted with her friend, Mary Lynk – Producer of CBC Radio’s Ideas, and the host of the CBC podcast, The Kill List. Mary and Nancy SHOWED UP for a conversation about authenticity, connection, and fear for friends and neighbours in the community.
